Dems Didn’t Take Kid Rock For Senator Serious, Then He Released His First Campaign Message

On Monday, Robert James Ritchie (perhaps more commonly know as Kid Rock, the musician) made it official via Twitter: He is running for the Michigan seat currently held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow!

“I believe if you work your butt off and pay taxes, you should be able to easily understand and navigate the laws, tax codes, health care and anything else the government puts in place that affects us all,” his official message read.

Currently, Kid Rock’s campaign website, kidrockforsenate.com, only has a picture of musician in a rocking chair along with merchandise and slogans such as “Get in the Senate and try to help someone,” “You never met a politician quite like me,” and “Pimp of the nation,” just to name a few.

And before you go dismissing his interest in the senate seat as nothing more than a hoax, just check out the statement from his website just last week, in which he went after Sen. Stabenow.

Senator Stabenow and I do share a love of music, although probably not the same kind,” he wrote. “I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bulls***!”

As crazy as this may sound, crazier things have happened when hardworking Americans have gotten fed up.  Umm…need I remind you about Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign?

Never doubt, folks.
