Dem Leader Calls For More Violence After Scalise, “Hunt Republican Congressmen”

According to a report from Newsmax, Democratic strategist James Devine posted some rather disturbing views all over social media, practically encouraging Democrat Americans to lash out against or “hunt” Republicans.

In one insensitive statement in particular, he also claimed that he was not surprised a gunman fired more than 60 shots at Republican lawmakers at a Congressional baseball game practice:

“We are in a war with selfish, foolish and narcissistic rich people. Why is it a shock when things turn violent. #HuntRepublicanCongressmen”

As disturbing as those tweets are, Devine later agreed to speak with local media to state that he will never apologize for his views.

“I’m not advocating violence, but I’m saying I understand it,” Devine told NJ.com in a phone interview.

“I can recognize why it’s happened, because this is the predictable and preventable outcome of 40 years of increasingly vitriolic, violent, corrupt and corporate-controlled rhetoric,” he continued. “This is the chickens coming home to roost.”

Then, in a Facebook post (which has since been removed), on the very day Scalise was shot no less, Devine stated: “I have little sympathy for the Republican Congressman who got shot today.”

Some social media users got to it before it was removed and tagged FBI and law enforcement officials in the comments section, denouncing the dispacable post and calling for an investigation.

And can you blame them?  If this fool insists on inciting violence against fellow Americans, it only seems reasonable to insist on an investigation.  Right?
