Wow! What a week for news that is sure to make liberals and the media squirm.
First, it was what we learned from The Washington Post regarding millions in funds from Hillary and the DNC through a law firm to opposition research firm Fusion GPS for the infamous Trump dossier.
And now, per a report from The Federalist, it appears records filed with the Federal Election Commission and documents filed in federal court reveal that Obama for America (OFA) paid nearly $1 million around the same time to the same law firm.
“Report out that Obama Campaign paid $972,000 to Fusion GPS. The firm also got $12,400,000 (really?) from DNC. Nobody knows who OK’d!” Trump tweeted in response.

Reportedly, the law firm, Perkins Coie, first received a payment of $98,047 from OFA in April 2016 for “legal services,” which was right around the time it contracted with Fusion GPS to conduct opposition research on Trump.
Then, in September 2016, OFA made a much larger payment of $700,000 to Perkins Coie.
From then through August 2017, it looks as if additional smaller payments totaling $174,725 were also made.
I don’t know about you, but what I find particularly interesting about this news is that, for the longest time, all we heard (ad nauseam) from liberals and the media was how sure they were that the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russians in an attempt to interfere in and influence the 2016 election to his favor. Yet, to date, they’ve still produced no actual evidence.
But here we are, stumbling upon evidence which suggests everyone’s favorite Democrats were involved in foul play left and right. Go figure!
